Nail Polish

OMG I'm so in love with Mad As A Hatter!! and I just discover one distributor of OPI in my country, I hope he has the alice in wonderland collection

I have always been a fan of Chanel rouge Noir and recently I have been loving a dark grey Barry M one

I'm looking for a color that is similar to Chanel's Miami Peach. I'm not a big fan of Chanel polishes. They chip easy on me. That's why I'm looking for an alternative. Big fan of Opi and Essie.

TIA!

Love OPI's Mad Hatter by the way!!

I'm starting to think that the Chanel shade only looks so light because the person only used one coat... :judge:

I'm still on my hunt to find a subtle frost, peach-rose-pink nail polish. I've been looking at swatches by the dozens.

I tried OPI's Royal Flush Blush and Melon of Troy, but neither hit the perfect, subtle shade.

The ideal color would be akin to the color of these roses' petals:

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your research!!! :flower: I have Chubby Cheeks, it's one of my favorites. I'll see if I can find the other suggestions as well. You can never have too much coral polishes, it's the best color for summer I think.

Essie Meet Balls looks good too.

This is just my own experience, but I bought some Barry M nail paint and it was one of the worst I have ever tried - it chipped almost instantly, whereas other cheap makes such as Rimmel at least last a day or two!

Has anyone else had problems with Chanel nailpolish? Mine takes forever to dry, is always chipping, etc. Is it just me? Maybe I'm not waiting long enough after painting my nails or applying the coat too thick...

^Could be both, or you might have just chosen a badly formulated shade. I've never had a problem with Chanel polishes, except for the shade Django.

The shade is Rose Baby. I'm going to try again later tonight to paint my nails with it and hope for the best.

Chanel Rose Satin might work  I'm putting it on tonight so I'll try & post pictures tomorrow when there's better light. It has a tiny shimmer to it, looks more pink in the bottle but more peach on my nails.

I'm looking for a deep grey, anthracite shade with a little shimmer.

Any suggestions?

I bought American Apparel's Mount Royal the other day and to be honest I was disappointed with the way it looked on my nails :( I still like the color though, it's a beautiful bold creme. The polish itself was impressive so I'd still encourage others to try it and maybe it'll look better on them than on me. Great formula (not too runny, not too thick), and 1 coat was enough to match the color you saw in the bottle. Amazing! I'm probably going to try other shades though.

p.s. I can't say much about if it's chip-resistant and long lasting because I ended up removing the polish right after taking the photo. What a shame.

thanks so much for the feedback on the American Apparel polish December 25th! I have been waiting to get some reviews on it before purchasing it!
