Nair Accident

Nah, I used the regular formula for your legs :ninja:

It's getting better with the time though, I've been caking on mederma, drinking vitamin E, and all that healthy crap

It can be covered up with makeup easily, that's not my worry for now, but im worried about long term marks on my face :ninja:

Alejandro, I'm sorry that happened. I hope it at least feels better. I hate Nair....it's the deeebulll

agreed...

...do any of you know any good alternatives to nair??

Waxing

Nair doesn't remove hair from the root. It just kills the hair and makes it fall. The stinky smell from Nair is actually the smell of your hair getting chemically burned

OuCh! it looks painful. I don't think it would leave any permanent marks or anything, but I sure do hope u feel better! :)

not bad ale...i'm glad it's getting better.

ps: lookin' good... :winkiss:

looks good!

I used nair on my legs.. it worked once... I got the same reaction as you did on your face the second time I ever used it... The third time like a year later (don't know why I did it again)... I looked down at my leg to see all these cuts bleeding through the nair.. very scary!!

DOWN WITH NAIR!!

There is no sign of it anymore with the powder on. Whew! I'll never go anywhere near Nair .... EVER!!!!

So yeah, here's how it looks, this was taken this morning, no makeup :ninja:
OMG Ale!!Im so sorry! That looks realy painful:cry:

You have to treat it as a severe sunburn, and stop experimenting with your skin like that, you hear!

Edit....I saw the last pic and it looks like you healed perfectly...this is the last time you ever try something like this right?:p

I had my eyebrows waxed for the first time, and I tried this hair removal cream that was for the face just underneath, I had an important exam at school and my tweezers were blunt and useless! I was panicking, I didn't know what to do..so I put the creme on. I washed it off after 5 minutes....but the hair just kept coming out. It had been starched to a crisp and if I rubbed my eyebrows more and more fell out..I was so ashamed I missed my exam and started a pattern of skipping school because I hated my eyebrows so much. Ever since then i've had constant problems with my skin getting hives and raised blackhead type lumps which often get infected, and a lot of the time my hair grows under the skin. There are a few patches where the hair will never grow back and ...it was a disaster basically.

^^^ OUCH missakura! those hairs that grow under the skin are called ingrown hairs! some even HURT when u touch them!! I remember a buddy of mine in high school used to shave his entire body...he got an ingrown hair around his "pelvic area" and he would try to take it out with tweezers, i guess. turns out, it got a MASSIVE infection and had to go to the hospital and everything! i thought it was funny when he told me but u never know!

and ur skin is looking MUCH better Alejandro...as a matter of fact, U HAVE A GRRRREAT COMPLEXION! im so jealous :(

Bluestar, im glad ur doing much better too :)

I tried using Nair tonight on my "treasure trail" if you will. Oh my. Oh how I wish I had not. It is really red, a little bumpy and stings. I hope it doesn't scar. Yikes! I am hoping getting some Neosporin and putting taht one will help. I hope so. I don't want a big scar on my stomach.

^Nair is only for your legs. The bottle tells you so.

Anyway... Ale, I'm glad your better b/c that first pic made me wince in pain for you.
