I just found out yesterday that LV is coming to Nashville/Green Hills:D :D :flower: I no longer have to drive to Atlanta! ((gleeming with joy)) will not open it's doors until next summer, but it will be worth the wait. I warned my husband already. He just shook his head  I just had to share the good news with the fashion council. My girlfriends and I are pleased with this announcement as you can see.

LA xoxo

Congratulations!

That's strange that Louis Vuitton came to Africa before Nashville.... hmm. Our LV store opened last year.

I read the title of this thread and i was like WHAT ?!?!

I get a little too excited sometimes. But this was wonderful news. We're getting more and more of the high end shops here. About time.:flower:

Congrats! Wow.. you use to drive all the way to Georgia? B)

All we have here in Austin is a tiny LV micro-store inside The World's Tiniest And Most Disappointing Sak's.

How I hate that Sak's. The men's section is almost entirely made up of Hugo Boss, Juicy Couture and Robert Graham. :yuk:

Well, congratulations on the new store in Nashville. If a cool boutique featuring Japanese and/or Belgian designers opens up next door, I may have to think about moving. :flower:

this belongs in the shopping section. better yet, bags section.

Hey, that's great news. I used to go to the LV in Chicago, but Nashville is slightly closer. :)

Atlanta is only a 4 hour drive away from me, so I occasionally go to ATL esp. Lenox Square in Buckhead, to shop. Now things are looking fab for Nashville.

No offense but how is Nashville getting a Louis Vuitton? What other highend stores are there

I could see the Louis Vuitton store opening attract other high end labels...if not, it may become the new "SOHO", if you will, and allow for new designers to open up shop. Louis Vuitton will bring in the business for everyone!

THis is the company that LV will keep. Also, Tiffany & Co is at this location. There is also a Nordstrom coming to this Green Hills area as well. I could go on...Nashville has lots of money people and we don't mind spending the $$ on lifestyle. Don't mean to sound snooty, but it's amazing how suprised people get when they find Nashville isn't a hick little town, but a rapidly expanding city...

Does anyone know when this will open? I'm so excited to have an LV in my city!

Louis Vuitton in Nashville

I am so super excited about this as well!!! I have been so happy since I found out! I live 2 and a half hours from Nashville, and I can't wait!! Does anyone have a date when the store will open other than "August"?

No offense but LV is like Coach, they're everywhere. It's really annoying, if there's a Speedy to be sold they'll setup shop, Im really surprised Nashville didn't get it sooner as well.

LOL I wouldnt say they are bad as coach:sick: But I know what you are saying for a luxury store they have the most locations followed by Burberry when it comes to highend stores, but LV landing in Nashville will be good for the mall expect more good stores to follow. Also maybe this is a good thing America is getting more an more LV Boutiques(Japan has like 100) maybe it will the era Americans finnally start to become more sophisticated(LMAO BUT I DOUBT IT)

Ok, in the two malls Ive been to in Jersey (River-something and Garden State) there are LVs, they're so out of place, one's across from a Bakers-like shoe shop and the other is next to a Sbarro...

It's so desperate, I really hate that.

I doubt it'll make Americans more sophisticated, the sophisticated don't shop at LV, it is tackalicious*

*disclaimer, the Suhali, Epi and Vernis lines are perfectly acceptable...And yes, I know tackalicious is not a word...

no dates yet

There hasn't been any dates for when the store will open. I just hope that Tennessee begins to get better stores now that LV and T & Co. have come to the area. The closest thing we have to a "high end" department store is Parisian, in Collierville. Shopping here really sucks, I end up relying on a lot of boutiques and still there isn't a lot of choices there, it is all pretty mainstream and a tad bit generic. How many places can sell the same juicy set, or the same ella moss dress? I want real high end luxury brands. Given I am not as versed with Nashville shopping as I am Memphis, and granted there are two FABULOUS stores in Memphis (gotta love Joseph's and James Davis) but I want variety!!!!

**I absolutely love the word "tackalicious" (even though it is "not a word" I love it and so does my best friend!!!) Thanks Diorling for giving me a fab new word!!!! ;)
