Hi, I was being a little silly in my post, I apologize. To me London and NYC are too similar-hustle and bustle, noise, traffic etc. Paris is more laid back, and there is just something about the city that I feel but can't put into words.... I feel very at home in Paris and would have no problem living there.

I live in Brooklyn, which is much quieter and residential than Manhattan, but it's NY all the same.

been to New York several times, London & Paris once and hoping to go to Milan in the near future it's a very hard decission for me so i'll say Miami. :)

Not too fond of Paris tho, couldn't picture myself living there.

Well London certainly has the accent bonus.
But hmm.. i think i'd rather live in NY. I lovelovelove both cities but
i associate London more with holidays than living there compared with NY.
Probably because i always went to NY with my father when he had to do business stuff when i was a small! :D
Nonetheless both cities currently are, next to Zurich which will always be in the back of my head teehe, my top choices for a living.

i would like to move to dublin but from these options i'd say.. new york. i love big cities and nyc just has it something. all though london has some good 2nd hand shops but still, nyc is the best (after dublin of course)

Definitely New York! I like visiting London but I can't see myself living there. And I don't think I could do without Yankees baseball.

Hmm, I'd definitely have to go with London! But Barcelona is by far the best city ever ...

I havent ever been to New York but it appeals to me more because of the atmosphere it has in movies.. lol!! And i have been to London but i didnt like it, i found it really depreasing!!

they both suck  . one reason i'd prefer london is that it's close to the rest of europe, but otherwise, i don't know which is a bad imitation of which, new york of london or vice versa :ermm: .

Much more expensive - in New York you can eat out or get takeaways everyday and not go bankrupt (that explains their tiny kitchens). If you tried to do that in London you'd go bankrupt!

Was just rereading through this thread. I ate a donner kebab and falafels for three quid last time I was in London, which certainly isn't a crazy price. When I was there last week, I found York to be much worse price-wise, because they have so few ethnic minorities.

London!
For many reasons...mostly superstitious ones. I have always had really bad luck in NYC.
But in London its always been wonderful! I've always had fantastic luck meeting people, great clubs (back when I was into that sort of thing), many adventures.
Another strange thing I have noticed, people in London seem to find me more attractive than when I am elsewhere. Wierd...but very true. Do people have a different standard of beauty over there?

New York, some of my friends live there. I don't know anyone in London.

I've never been to NY although when hearing about it i'd say that it sounds much cooler than London..I will be a new yorker one day...as soon as i have the $$

London. New york is way too crowded for me. I have bad memories in NY. I got lost in Times Square when I was liek 10. :(

London -not because I am from there but because I think New York is overrated.
Ideally Rome or Cairo though. The two greatest cities on Earth.
