She's kinda past her window of being an it girl/style icon. I am not sure how many people these days want to look like Nicole Richie

Her Winter Kate line is so derivative--and frankly unimpressive-- I'm not sure people even think of her when they see the pieces.

She has no style. Her famous "style" was created by her former stylist after a drastic Hollywood makeover. Besides, no one really talks about Nicole Richie anymore. I just looked through her winter kate line and this is something people would wear but there's so many clothing lines who do the same. She's not adding anything new and it's easy to get lost through the shuffle because Nicole's name and face isn't big anymore.

Whenever I see ugly pieces like that, I always think of the process it takes for a single item to be put into production. I can't even believe how so many people must have seen this and thought it was a legit good idea. Like, did it nowhere in the approval process occur to anyone: 'hey, this is ugly as hell' ?
