Interesting to see she went to Madrid instead of London to do shows. Is Madrid more lucrative?

Yes, it is..I remember that a lot of models (Iris Strubegger, Marina Perez, Eniko Mihalik to name a few) said that Madrid (and also Barcelona) Fashion Week pays extremely well because of many reasons:

* Spanish designers are less famous in the world and they usually get international top models for their shows to increase their visibility.

* Top models demand an higher cachet for Spanish fashion shows: they skipped London FW ("less" ?! money for big shows than in Spain, more prestige...a lot of money in Spain, less prestige)..in 2005 I remember an interview with Heather Marks, Eva Riccobono & Emina Cunmulaj and they said that (in Spain) they earned even more than €50.000 for a single show!

* In Spain the locations for the shows are all in the same place, so models can walk a lot of shows every day (even 7/10 per day) and they don't have to run for many locations around the city..and so they earn a lot!
