Adore Nina on TVD, but I've never been impressed by her style - esp. event style. She tends towards kinda tacky dresses. She looks good in the white dress, but it's a little pageant-y? She's cute with Ian though - totally dating, those two.

I think I'm right in saying that dress is D&G no? Nina strikes me as being like a lot of these girls who suddenly find themselves being invited to things, their red caret style take a while to evolve. The are very few who get is right right from the get-go, they all seem to need to find their feet red carpet wise, look back at people like Keira or Sienna, even they too took a while to get it together! Nina is certainly heading in the right direction, she's so pretty and her style will no doubt get better. I don't dislike the dress, it's really pretty and she look gorgeous but there's a hint of prom dress in there I think.

^I suppose that's possible but I feel that the people who are interested in fashion usually are more adventurous when given access. Then there are those who doesn't really have much innate style, and their choices tend towards more bland or tacky? I don't know. I've just noticed that her style has never impressed me much, but maybe you're right and it will develop. Although, imo, it's not usually that their style improves much - they just hire a stylist.

Her style is a bit all over the place. And I usually don't care for her style at all but I liked her recent choices so far, she's been looking more mature imo. Can't wait to see more of her in the future .

^Not really, no. Why wouldn't Joshua Jackson date Diane? I'm more wondering how the two couples know each other actually.

Does anyone else think Nina looked better in S1 of TVD? I think it's the eyebrows, yes? I don't think the thicker eyebrows is a good look for her.

I was wondering how they all knew each other too!I don't think Diane looked remotely pissed off, why shouldn't Jo sh be with Diane? They've been together for what seems like forever, and frankly I don't think Diane looks her age, even next Nina. But this is all getting off topic, anyway, Nina and Leighton Meester have both gone for this thicker eyebrow and I really don't think it suits them.

Delving into her brand new project, Nina Dobrev was hard at work on the Pittsburgh set of "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" on Saturday afternoon (May 14).

The "Vampire Diaries" actress was focused on perfecting her character's actions, as she intensely practiced a scene by throwing her wallet and carrying around an open briefcase.

Joining Miss Dobrev on the Pittsburgh set were co-stars Dylan McDermott and Kate Walsh, who both were spotted wandering around the trailer area in between takes.

As for the movie, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" tells the story of an introvert freshman named Charlie who learns everything from drug use to suicide after being taken on the wings by step siblings Sam and Patrick.

Directed by Stephen Chbosky, the film also stars Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and Paul Rudd with a release date slated for 2012.

It will be interesting to see if she'll be the break-out star of TVD. She's impressed me in the way she's able to portray two vastly characters in TVD so well
