^ I think Blackberry is running ads with a few notable professionals right now to attract others who are either notable professionals themselves or would some day love to be in that bracket. The overall theme seems to be "My life is sooo busy but a Blackberry makes it easier. I can finally see my friends and family now that I have my Blackberry or at the very least I can finally forward them emails!!"
At least thats the theme in the other ads I've seen. Especially the web ads.
I think they picked Nina Garcia because of her Project Runway fame. Now people can recognize her and these ads can be in fashion magazines too because of her work.
