No. 21 F/W 2017.18 Milan

I love him, his fw 2013 was an amazing collection, but he is far too much influenced by Mrs. Prada
(Miu Miu pre fall and jackets, Prada ss2010 prints, Prada fw 2013 etc.).

This time he added early Gucci by A.M... he should stick with his vision

Oh my, he's getting dangerously Gucci-fied...
but still it's really good, just lacks his own vision

the red is lovely  yes prada, but i do think this is "his" style too..

Which is nice, since Gucci isn't Gucci anymore but Napoleon Dynamite designing for his friends.

I'm really conflicted about this. On one hand i really hate the fact that the Gucci, Prada & Miu Miu references are so visible but on the other hand, this is such a welcome return to what he used to do and that i used to like about his line.
Those past few seasons of try-hard, gimmicky layering type of fashion did not felt like him and this feels easier.

It's really ready to wear and i missed that from him.

I really love the checked pattern pantsuits and dresses.

I could do without some of the athletic striped jackets and patterned sweaters but there are some really good pieces here. I really like that cream and brown shearling jacket and the grey suiting. It's a very well styled and put together show.

I don't see the Gucci connection , more like Prada and 40s fashion, which seems to be a strong trend.
