NO TOFU Winter 2015 : Lindsay Lohan by Ellen Von Unwerth

Thanks thenewclassic for the post.

This rag is so random. They really need to rethink their concepts through before going into production.

Are they trying to reboot Lindsey and claim to be the ones that did it first... (for 2016)? Lindsey isn't going to happen anymore, I'm afraid.

I see Marilyn, Lolita, a Spanish señorita and a 90's streetwalker.....God, talk about trying to kill many flies with one swat. I actually think No Tofu can do well, but the photography is always all over the place. I liked only the cover, the rest doesn't interest me.

Well, some pictures are really nice, especially these black and white.

I guess much like this rag's context, the photography is all over the place.

I’ve always adored Ellen. I’m glad she’s still plugging away, but there’s definitely something clearly missing in her photography now. I don’t know if it’s the lack of growth— disinterest? Or, the sharpness of spirit she was able to capture in women and men back in the 90s that was so powerful and playful that’s missing now— maybe she’s just not feeling the times we’re in because the images lack that smoulder, that glamor, that spontaneity...

I wish I was in a position to give her that comeback opportunity, that push for greatness again— I just think she’s so much better than Cosmo and this NoTofu offering. Her first book SNAPS remains as modern today as it was in 1995. I’ll always want more from Ellen.

Somehow, I get the feeling that Playboy will be requesting a repeat appearance. I don't really know what else she'd be doing, these days.

I like this quite a bit. The cover's far too washed out to be interesting, but I've always thought Lindsay was a rare actress who can actually model. This makes me nostalgic for a time when she was actually in major magazines fairly often.

The best I've seen Lindsay in ages! She looks fantastic in these photos.

Second cover!

Much better! I might never have liked Tasha, but this comes close to her December 05 Vogue Russia cover, which is somewhat iconic imo. Love the piercing stare. That Dior top feels a bit old now, but they're an indie so I suppose it's fine.

Loving the way I can actually see her skin texture! She looks perfect and has aged beautifully.
