From utter obscurity to the upper echelons of fashion, there’s something to be said for a model who knows how to make an entrance. Meet Noah Luis Brown, a Swiss schoolboy who made his runway debut as first face at the Louis Vuitton F/W 17 menswear show.
Social media got him to work.
Noah was discovered through Instagram after being noticed by Zineta Blank from Visage Models in Zurich. A month later he was on the Louis Vuitton catwalk in Paris. Not only was the LV gig his first as a model, but it is also the first job this 17 year old has ever had.
He’s pretty into fashion.
Before getting into the industry Noah says he was already knowledgable about clothing, “I know lots about fashion… since I can remember I’ve been always interested in it.” So interested that he’s been accepted into fashion school and intends on becoming a fashion designer.
¡Viva Suiza!
Born and raised in Basel, Switzerland, Noah’s mother is Swiss and his father is Cuban. However, this language lover doesn’t speak Spanish (yet), but is fluent in German, French, and English.
He’s a dancer.
A former student of a modern ballet academy, Noah has studied modern dance and expression for four years. He remains passionate about music and dance but is now more focused on fashion.
He’s humble when he rumbles.
Noah says modelling has given him new found confidence, but he still considers himself to be just a kid. Hitting that Vuitton runway with the music pumping was “like magic”, but he isn’t carried away with the model lifestyle just yet. Thinking of himself as a school boy who transforms into a model only when he’s working as one, Noah is more preoccupied with his social life at home in Basel than with the social whirl of the fashion industry.
