I've liked what I've seen from his work and you'd be crazy to turn down most of the pieces here and I get where he is and his influences but I'd like to see him challenging things just a little bit more, I know it's too soon and he's probably still finding his own voice there but yeah..
Yes, I'm glad he's around because I still miss seeing a Tao collection on the calendar, but at least between him and Chitose Abe at Sacai it's heartening to know that the Comme des Garcons legacy lives among the younger designers.
I wonder if the Noir in the label will still be taken literally in future collections.
