NAP has informed that the Novaks will be in this week.

meowmix & greendrv...I hope you get yours really soon!!! Can't wait to see pics and get your views on how the bags are... :)

 i can't decide if i really like the brown leather version...i really want to wait to see the green leather one. i hope it won't be too impossible to get a leather or canvas one after the nap shipment

imo it's a little too much like something one could get in a thrift store from the 50s. it's very lady-like and prim, not much edge. :ninja:

Im not sure i like it... i guess i have to see it..

But it's a bit too office looking in a way.

I think I would have to change my wardrode if I were to purchase the bag - am not really a structured bag person and it does look more formal. Still I cant wait to see the pics if some of you are getting it ! :flower:

meow, just responded to your PM. I wish the boutique could confirm exactly which shade of green the bag is coming in! I'd wait if I were you, you might like the green more.

I like the canvas one in the picture Siesta posted. I am going to call the boutique again to check if the canvas combo is coming in plain leather as well.

I've only had one live sighting of the bag and the owner was in jeans. And she had the croc version. She (and the bag) looked awesome. If I hadn't seen the bag in person, I wouldn't be as convinced that the bag could work with jeans and more casual outfits.

I very like this bag but I also a bit worry if I would be able to pull it off with my wardrobe. But still in love with this bag.

Klow have you decided if you are going to get it ? I've decided to let this one pass for now until I see more pics.

No I have not decided yet same with you want to see more pictures. And a bit more concern that I might not be able to pull it of with what I have in my wardrobe.

I think the one with the longer handle (small) may be easier to pull off. The one with the shorter handle looks like you have to wear it in the crook of your arms and I must say I dont really like carrying my bags like that.

For me I need a bigger bag the small is too small for me and I don't mind wear it in the crook of my arms. The bag does look awsome with that tweed dress. If anyone has an idea of how you're planing to wear this bag with your outfits please do share your idea. I would be very greatful for that.

theory is doing some wools and tweeds in that earthy color scheme... i think their suits or separates would go very well with this bag. i'd go with greys and brown or tan wools with the green. i think a grey wool suit with the green bag (esp in CROC) would look stunning. reminds me of the green that hitchcock used in vertigo... and the grey of kim novak's suit.

Thanks meow :) I will check it out ...but we almost finish our winter here and spring is olny couple of days away.

I wear a lot of suits( jacket & pants) during working day and jeans & tee and boho style on the weekend.
Summer is coming here do you thing this bag can be carried in summer... for a more casual look. I'm not sure but really like it and want it to work with my wardrobe without changing too much.

Adore the bag...but will sit out this season in anticipation of the next. Would love to know from the fashionable pioneers of the Novak, when and after they have gotten the bag, what the usage verdict would be like first...:)

klow, there are a lot of light, sheer chiffon tops with victorian details out now that you could wear with a light cami underneath, paired with jeans for a transitional look for spring. if it's still cold, you could always throw a neutral colored blazer on.... or even just jeans and a white or cream safari style blouse.

For a more casual take on the bag...
I think it would look superb with jeans, fabulous heels and a nice funky, feminine top for dressier events. For a more relaxed look, the bag would be fab with jeans and singlets...a simple outfit for the bag to get the attention :)!!! Also with slim pencil skirts and singlets...it'll be fab for that more casual Hitchcock femme fatale look :)...
