Nude / Pale Lips

She's obviously wearing lip liner.

ugh, i hate being blind on one eye, its like hard to seee things...even b*tches clawing out.

oh well, that's life, unfair.

well if she was wearing lipliner, it looks like subculture from mac, that **** looks invisible almost.

Has anybody tried Revlon's Matte collection? Shade 001 Nude Attitude? I've read that it's comparable to MAC Myth.

some shade of the nude color palette freak me out. i absolutely hate it unless its got a healthy pink flesh undertone to it.

I got the YSL Rouge Pure Shine (#32 from summer collection) a few weeks ago and I really like the shade (and it smells amazing too) but it comes off super fast, your lips have to be pretty dry for it to stay on

when it comes to nude lips you have to be very careful which one you choose, its best to know if you have a warm or cool skin tone. If its warm then the nude color should have a warm undertone (peach) if its cool you need a pink undertone so the color does not wash you out.

what's a good nude lipstick for sallower yellow based skin?

If anyone with pale skin is looking for a not-too-expensive nude lipstick that doesn't make you look like a ghost, then Gosh has a very nice l/s called Darling 134

It look like a concealer, but when you swatch it on your hand, you can see it has some pink/peach in it. It looks slightly more pink in real life

Two layers of Darling

It wears ok. It's semi-sheer, but it's not shiny as you can see. I hate shiny lips on myself, but you could add gloss if you wanted to. It's a really nice natural nude lip stick, really. Something everyone should own I think!

The Ida - that color (or lack thereof) is amazing! Unfortunately, it isn't cheap enough for me...$17 USD, including shipping, on their website. :(

You could try the new Revlon colorburst one in Soft Nude - it looks to be pretty similar and it's much cheaper.

^ Oh! Fantastic, thank you, Ganybelle. I have a few Ulta coupons here... may have to put them to good use.

The Ida - I know! The company must be based in Europe? At least not in the U.S. perhaps...

I think Gosh is Danish, actually. Hence the outrageous pricing

I wish we had Revlon!

You're welcome. I hope it works for you and thanks for the karma:flower:

I purchased Soft Nude... I'm such a sucker for possibly great nude lipsticks!

Well... it's not as light on my lips as I was hoping. I hate posting close-ups of my face, because there are so many imperfections in my skin (I'm not sure why I get red under my lips, but if anybody has a possible solution... I'd LOVE to know), but here I am wearing the lipstick. It looked lighter on some of the You Tube videos I watched. :(

^The red bit under your lip is caused by hormones. Concealer is the solution, I guess

I like more of a pinkish/coral neutral.

I don't like lipstick that turns my lips really beige or washed out with my skin.

That way I have some color without it competing with my eyes.
