Nude / Pale Lips

wow i just realized my lips are nude in my avatar lol.

I'm very pale with light eyes and light blonde hair (think Dewi Driegen and Caroline Winberg), and nude lips looks god awful on me. I look like a ghost.

I know this has nothing to do with nude lips (other than Whoa Hoo, love them nudies)...but he he, thats too funny...I had to look at it over and over. Had to ask if I was seeing that right. Very cute

Sometimes I'll just put vaseline on my lips and apply a tiny bit of eyeshadow with it, so it's like semi nude lips.

I use a little bit of hush by mac on mine, it's good if you just want a subtle look and your unsure if it'll suit you. Also it doesn't dry my lips out , does anyone else do this?

Ms. Diorella - I use Vaseline a lot, too. Really, it has a tone of makeup uses - and it's sooo cheap to use as a gloss.

I personally love the nude lip color. it looks very natural (especially, when you wear dark eye makeup) but it just seems like whenever I find a great shade, it is discontinued shortly after I buy it. A few years back I used YSL # 35 (I can't remember if it was the translucent type) discontinued. then I started using a great gloss from Clarins, I can't recall the number but it's also discontinued. Now I use Turkish Delight by NARS. it's an alternative to nude, especially if you like a light color. and, it looks very fresh.

I hate nude lips. Light brown or something similiar to me is nice. But I have seen 1 of 10 or something people with nude lips look alright.

Mac would be an excellent choice given the large number of nudie / flesh coloured lipsticks MAC makes

I love the nude pinky-beige lips look and I always get told I have perfect lips so I would love to try it, any suggestions of brands and shades?

My favorite natural lipstick is Aveda lipstick in Sheer Papaya. I don't know why Aveda lipstick doesn't get more attention - they have great colors that have the consistency of chapstick, don't cake up, and don't taste awful. They last a good while, too.

I'm not impressed with MAC lipstick. I have to keep reapplying, and they dry out my lips. I tell you...Aveda is where it's at!

Got a lipgloss today at Kohl's.. surprisingly their semi-new makeup line "FLIRT!" isn't half bad.. and not overly priced....

There's a lip gloss named nude kiss... the kind of gloss is called "Liquid Velvet Lipcolor" ... it's a very light gloss.. and it's not icky sticky gross lipgloss either... I dunno.. I really like it
