Numéro Berlin #1 November 2016 : The Premiere Issue

Albert Watson ! So looking forward to his edit with Julia.

Agreed that it's nice to see such a stark "German" identity already established with the debut issue, even if it's not my preferred aesthetic per se.

I don't know if this is already known, but I had a look at their media data and it says they'll publish biannually. Which is a smart move, I think, there's a good chance they'll be able to keep up the strong identity and content.

Kern's edit of Toni is outstanding in both that it's so unlike the typical Numero shoots, and that it's so specific in the tone and mood it evokes. Love it.

The others... bland and forgettable in that early-80s IKEA/ Swedish aesthetic I despise so much. And the cover with the generic 80's discount eyeglass ad is just awful.

Flipped through it yesterday and it is MASSIVE AND HEAVY!
Can't remember the exact page count, but it was something like 600pages ^_^

It's massive indeed, I had a hard time carrying it home tbh

Would love it if they did a men's version, just like this=)

The magazine offers a lot of variation, I am curious to see more :P I love a couple of the stylists, and photography.
