Numéro Tokyo #69 September 2013 : Rosie Huntington-Whiteley | the Fashion Spot

Numéro Tokyo #69 September 2013 : Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

She doesn't even look like a human here. Like some sort of CGI anime character or something.

Didn't recognise her at first glance. Also not keen on the colours used on the cover.

It could have been a nice cover, but the angle is just bad and the mouth, no.

i love it! great hair, great styling, love the colours as well

The issue of relevancy is so boring, who cares if a model is relevant still. That granted the cover is not good at all, her eyes look very strange. You could cover each side of her face to reveal a different emotion, one very fierce and one is much more soft, obviously her bog eye was not intentional but this is what I have noticed.

and she is still relevant because?

She must be because you obviously felt the need to comment: how many covers has your fave gotten this year? yeah, I thought as much.

Not her best cover by any means, but I'm happy to see her nonetheless.

No, the relevancy factor is not boring, it's important: there are far better top WORKING models and newer models with talents and beauty who could deserve this cover and pull much better looks than this blank stare. So what Rosie left modeling and then did a few stints on the big screen and now she's a superstar and can appear from time to time on covers pretending she's a top model?

This has nothing to do with Tyra Banks being one of my favorite mentors and models; I have lots of favorite supermodels and comment positively on them too, so you don't need to attack me or to be snappy, I was just wondering why she 'deserved' the cover, that's all.

That's merely your opinion and it's sort of alarming how you're trying to pass it off as fact, what makes Rosie any less talented or attractive than the next model?! As far as I'm aware she never left the business, and has been working consistently for the last X amount of years and is therefore still getting mainstream covers. Just because she branched out is not to say she left, so that sort of makes the issue of her relevancy a moot point.

...And do you actually have any favorite models? because the majority of your comments are often flippant & very negative. :ninja:

^ hey, fangirls you're slightly off topic

here are some previews:

Carmen Dell' Orefice, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Coco Rocha, Chanel Iman, Raquel Zimmermann, Caroline Trentini, Gemma Ward, Jourdan Dunn, Liu Wen... lol get a grip, this is fashion, everybody's entitled to their own opinion.
