Still sad to say that she will retire in September.
It's like Tracy Jordan once said, albeit about strippers, 'You gotta get in while you're young, get the money, and get out.' Same applies to pop stars of Namie's calibre in the Asian entertainment industry. She won't be able to pull a Madonna and continue to wear tartan miniskirts with jeweled chokers into her 50s. As it is her 25 year reign is quite impressive.
She looks beautiful on the cover, but I expected something more grand and epic. But I'm sure her fans will rush to get this.
She's lovely. I like the wine and chartreuse colors. But the cover is unremarkable.
I always dislike her magazine shoots, too much photoshop...
positively ageless! There's retouching at work of course, but it's still such a sunny shot that's bittersweet since she's retiring. I actually find it refreshing when pop stars bow out on their own accord rather than try to be Madonna, I wonder if 'retiring' really means retiring..
