Hmmmm Edita as a full on blonde, I'm not sure if I love it. Definitely not a bad editoral I just feel like I'm left wanting more...
Edita's ed by Akrans in repetitive as usual but I love it this time. It's so beautiful and definitely better than the one in the September issue. BTW, I think Leah de Wavrin would have done a better job in that ed.
Constance's ed is cringe worthy and Edita's ed would have been perfect if they had styled her hair differently.
Major palmface and likely to be in the news again about fashion selling black face . Not really liking the photos by Camilla Åkrans either.
With all the unintentionally ridiculous editorials this month I'm starting to think that the fashion world is being run by the creators of Funny or Die.
I don't think she's posing as a black person, she just has an afro, which is blonde in some pictures, and a black baby. But either way it's just an awful, awful, joke of an editorial.
I like how raw Edita's ed looks. Like they didn't even retouch her skin! You can see the pores and a few blemishes. It's nice to not see an airbrushed barbie doll. And I mean this in the best way possible!
No they have had black models in past issues but this doesn't excuse things for me. Anyways, ther's another editorial that I forgot to re-post. Numéro No. 117 October 2010 Model: Emily DiDonato Ph:Sølve Sundsbø Stylist: Franck Benhamou Lullaby (tFS) via noirfacade
You can now browse through this issue via journaux.fr The models I saw in this issue were.. Emily D, Constance, Heidi Mount, Karmen P, Tati C, Eniko.. among others.
