Kinda flat.. A downgrade from their previous cover. Thanks ammon!

The Numero Homme China covers don't do it for me, it's very flat indeed, but I'm always intrigued into knowing what's up with Asian magazines like Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, W and Numero.

The cover is photographed by Tiziano Magni and styled by Joseph Carle.

Editorial content:

Ph: Yin Chao
Styling: Joseph Carle
Model: Hou Jinxiang

Very characteristic with a lot of magazines from China- bland covers but with very good content.. I just hope that these teams would give equal priority to covers. Shouldn't they know that appearance sells too? :innocent:

I know right? These editorials are AMAZING but the cover isn't, which is sad and kind of stupid coz the cover is that one image that sells the magazine every month and to lure readers to buy it

hate the cover love the eds Hou Jinxiang has quite an interesting look

I don't think the style of the cover matters to the Chinese market. They care more about who is on it, rather than what. Clearly, they are doing something right whether or not we like their covers. If it ain't broke, why fix it? We have to keep in mind it is catered to the Chinese audience and they have a much different aesthetic and perception of style. The contents of Chinese magazines are always exception and consistent. The cover is only one part of the magazine as a whole.
