nyc vintage magazines

i may have posted this before, but i can't find it.

is there a place in the city that carries vintage (80s/90s) fashion magazines, esp. european ones (donna, vanity, foreign vogues, etc.) and collection books (book moda, gap collections, etc.)? i'm a little shocked by how few i have ever found in this fashion-crazed city. used to find a few at howdy do, that's closed, and i guess gallagher's is closed too (although i thought i heard somebody say it's appointment only now...anyone know about this?)
