Boring as always. Would be much more interesting if they used other colours for the logo besides pink.

I can't believe how subdued this cover is compared to other ones Nylon has done. Especially since it's Shirley, you would think they'd want to make a massive statement. That said I like the cover for the most part, though I wish they had styled her hair differently, it looks a little odd.

Shirley looks VERY different from what she normally wear/does ... in a way Im dissappointed, but in another way Im happy they got her all dolled up and being very girly, which she is.

I guess Im just glad to see her on the cover a magazine. And rocking it (how many forty somethings do you see in magazine covers anyway?)

Is NYLON changing their cover typography back to capital letters? If so, hooray! For me, the magazine took a huge dive downhill when they changed their cover typography to lowercase, which i felt made them completely trashy and hipster. Hopefully they'll go back to being the cute, girly magazine they were in the early to mid 2000's...but I doubt it.
