The first trailer for the Quantum of Solace movie was released today. Can be seen at http://007.com and other places.

Olga is only briefly seen in this trailer but she is in many scenes at most of the locations where they were filming so she has a big part. There will be another longer trailer coming out in September or October. The main filming is completed.

She and the other young actress ("Bond girl") Gemma Arterton will be doing some promo work for the movie in the fall and they will likely be on some TV talk shows (Conan would be good!). Olga and Gemma both have other movies lined up so it's onward & upward!

I think those pics with the short hair are from the Edinburgh film festival August 2007, a couple of months after she was filmed in the Hitman movie and in a later interview this came out:

"New BOND girl OLGA KURYLENKO was so devastated when she was forced to cut her hair for the 2007 movie HITMAN, she refused to throw away her snipped strands.
The Ukranian-model-turned actress sported a short, edgy hairdo as a Russian hooker in the thriller - but she felt so distraught after the haircut, she kept her long locks in a bag in her hotel room.
She recalls, "It was hard. I'd never had short hair, and it's a drastic change. For a week afterwards, I looked in the mirror and I felt like it wasn't me.
"But it was also good because it made me feel different for the character."

Yeah, now I'm confused Because she's a model but also an actress. I thought she deserved her own thread in "Star Style" because she's been getting more attention as an actress. Oh well, mods will do what they like
