Use a hair straightner - but rather than doing strands individually (because then you get a fringe that is thin looking and sticks out!), do the fringe in clumps (about x3 times) - works everytime for me!

Try it straightning it in clumps and go over the hair quickly, rather than slowly - it should work but it also depends on the texture of your hair. Is your hair fine or thick? Mine is thick, so if I want it really thin I have to go over it a couple of times doing strands of hair - but for my fringe I do it in a clump because I don't want it to look too thin.

my hair is kinda thin or atleast my bangs are, so straightening too much is really easy to do. lol
