One Shoulder Dresses S/S 06

The L.A.M.B one is just amazing, so beautiful. I somehow think one shoulder dresses look good when its just one color, if its patterned and colorful, it looks complicated and not that nice. (unless its a Missoni one :P)

some of the dresses look ok to me, but i remember this trend - it's so tacky when they do this for tops. plus, some girls at my school don't have strapless bras which is even worse.

I love this trend to but here's one bad example:

Anne Hathaway just couldn't really pull of this MJ dress

i dont think theres been enough time between when this style went out and now, i'm still sick of this look!!

i think that one shoulder dresses are fine when there is no sleeve involved, or a slight dolman sleeve. otherwise, they are not very flattering. i really liked the color of the dress that rosario dawson wore to the golden globes, but the one shoulder style made me wince.

one shoulder dresses spells F.U.N to me...

but, one q - are they the same as toga dress?

Here's the look with a fall/winter take on it:

I think if you can look sophisticated in it, it's great
Otherwise it's so "trend follower" (almost fashion victim)

I like this one here^ when it's not so obvious
and the second photo of Andrew GN

I know I had many one sholder shirts...it was sooo trendy a while ago...(meaning few years...) some were really tacky and cheap looking... but I'm loving the one sholder dresses....my fave is MJ for sure...

I remember being in high school and everyone had body hugging cotton one shoulder tops... :ninja:

I like the updated sophisticated version of it.... very nice.

i saw this dress in marciano.........
i think its sexy and very greco-roman, so you end up looking classy and very patrician.
