i LOVE the orange at rue du mail

Orange is my favorite; I love the color. Just not with the 'safe' pairings: light brown, dark brown... medium brown. For me it's all about orange with black, white, gray, very dark near-black navy (or even dark purple), etc. Cooler tones, in other words, not the usual autumnal ones. And there are plenty of examples in this thread that showcase my preferred pairings--how fantastic does the orange/white look @ Ann Demeulemeester?! I hope this trend encourages people (other than myself) to A. buy orange and B. wear it fearlessly.

so far my favourites are orange with white, and orange with grey (light and dark)....particularly with the grey actually....there is something SO cool about it..

the grey coat with the orange dress underneath at rue de mail and the same pairing at preen are probably my favourites so far....absolutely gorgeous..

it also seems to look fantastic with dark blue / navy a la phillip lim and normaluisa..
