Playing her own role within the stream of Major Paris girl in latest Citizen K, with her striking light-red hair and funny poses, Ornella Loginova seems to be the surprising one wherever she goes and whatever she does. Not the tallest model in town, she has to rely on some serious other assets. First of all come her eyes and gaze. From impish moods to melancholic expression. Then obviously the shade of her hair. Not the flame-red color you would notice in the night, simply the most subtle. The way she melts into her characters is pretty impressive too as we've seen in this editorial by Gregory Derkenne. If being slightly under 5'9 probably won't make her a runway wonder, she already walked for Cacharel s/s 09 in Paris and, anyway, her future on glossy paper is shining bright. Part two coming soon. We promised you a second part, here it is. Also shot by Gregory Derkenne, Ornella's other editorial for Citizen K puts more emphasis on her poses, less on funny faces. Though, it seems she's using the same sense of humor to embody this other character. Like in a modern version of a silent movie or an expressionist painting. Like any well-done modern version, she's bringing a new vision to something we used to see before. The most old-school vibe can often hide a serious little touch of avant-garde... fdib
