So pretty and fresh. My favorite brand now by far.
WWD.com also has pics from the runway show.
I love the balloon dresses but I miss the vibrancy of ODLR’s color palette.
It’s not memorable and it’s not even ODLR enough...
Pretty but like someone said it lacks that fun whimsical ODLR signature. I guess this works better for their bank account
It's almost too strong for a resort collection! Glad to see them get back to Oscar's roots. Great offering!
Those balloon dresses are just heavenly. I don't know which is better!
Although I agree that the duo hasn't tapped into vibrancy and exuberance of ODLR, but this is a great offering nonetheless!
I just hope that even though what they're doing works (to an extent), they won't rely on it too much that we'll get bored of it by next season! This what other designers tend to do lately!
I always find this brand so interesting. It can never be too trend-driven, because the clientele is far too loyal and somewhat dictate the aesthetic. Moreso than with other brands. So whoever heads this house must share the classic sensibility. You cannot just hire any Tom, Dick and Harry.
I di agree that it's also very easy to fall in a rut.
So far they're doing well and I can see the international debutante set and their mums latching onto this. That's the aim here, not to top the best selling or Insta lists.
