I noticed there wasn't a thread for this so I started one.

I just really wanted to ask:

did anyone else see the snuggie resemblance?

but apart from that the collection in general is nice in my opinion :)

does anyone have a close-up picture of the shoes?

they were absolutely beautiful (and a bit dangerous)... but definately deserve of some attention. :)

    great ^ :D
he's wondering where her [email protected]# is there...

i'm curious why the French are so interested in that !
looking back, not just Cristobal.. but also Givenchy and later Dior..

    ^sincerely I wouldn't be capable to explain that ...

I just know in french we have this expression : "être habillé comme un sac à patates", which literally translate by "be dressed like a potato sack" and means be dressed bad and inform ... I wonder if the expression isn't coming from that period of times.
But I think this is nothing related to France or french culture. I guess it came just from a desire to dressed women with Anti-Form attitude. Dior did it in the H line in 1950s

that makes sense i guess^^ .. just developing silhouettes. from corset, straight lines, hourglass...then something else. in a way it's like the direction is towards this shape. i think the 'sack' is about even more freedom than all those before

as for H line i thought it's about tight skirts actually.. and wasp-waists. slightly hourglass. just from a few pictures i found

    thanks for this new term..
i hadn't learned it before. (my history classes only went up to Romanticism :-( )

    encylopedia.com
    contradicting one's taste..
maybe that's the potatoes there ^^
