Ostrich Leather

    What's your experience with ostrich leather bags ? Are they high maintenance
    (scratch easily etc.) or are they easy care ?

    I do!!

    I bought a vintage Prada bag (2001) (green color) and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. But it is extremely soft. Also of course I don't throw it around and what not. But keep it away from extended periods of artificial light. (as I have been told)

    Thanks for your input. I like the way the leather looks , I think its a refreshing change from all the other exotic skins.

    ostrich leather is quite resistant... i got a pink ostrich saddle bag/bracelet and i like its texture too :p

    wow , I just priced this ostrich skin around and the bags cost almost 3 x the cost of normal leather... :shock:
