Rihanna (her voice is only great on CDs, she is just not a live artist.)
Katy Perry (horrible live-performance on EMA's... ridiculous)

Underrated TOTALLY

I noticed when mtv did live shows, a lot of the pop singers don't sound nearly as good as there cd's. Sometimes they weren't even singing just dancing.

music scene in the 00's is based on fashion, cheesy songs and scandals... sad sad sad...

Katy Perry: O my gosh I can not stand her!!
Taylor Swift: for obvious reasons

those are my main two although there are obviously way more..... so many of those who make it big are talented in that they can sing/preform but that is nothing special...tonnes of people are capable of singing just as well as Rhianna or Katy Perry. They are not creative at all and I personally just find their music irritating

Overrated/Overplayed: Katy Perry, P!nk, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, U2, Kings of Leon, Black Eyed Peas, Ke$ha, Bruno Mars (actually good but overplayed) and unfortunately many more.

Underrated: Hurts, SALM.
