Pairing Shoes with Clothes Help Thread

If you've recently looked at the Shoes Yay/Nay thread of the mens footwear thread, you will have bumped into my posts for these shoe that I own (courtesy of Archie Eyebrows of London)

Currently I pair these with Black Tie evening dress and the semi patent look is great. However, not wearing black tie that often I would like to get a little more wear out of these shoes. So suggest away please.

I love these shoes so much! I would be rocking them with some rolled up boyfriend jeans... but I'm a girl with perhaps a different style than works for you.
It's hard to know quite what would work on you with out knowing your look, height etc... but I can't imagine why these wouldn't look great on a guy in skinnies for everday.

Rolled up bf jeans wouldn't work with these shoes.
Both laisla and hfmrok should rock the Mod/New Romantics style. Something prim and proper yet with an edge [accessories].

No. By general admission, they're just another unflattering trend. They were ugly in the 80s and still are.

Ok I don't wanna rumble with you but that look in the 80's did not involve cubans.
What's more, I'm not believer in rules such as this or that is "unflattering". What works on one person may not on someone else. I'm always mindful of this when giving my opinion, because I haven't seen that person wearing the item...
And for the record, interpreting those shoes in a Mod/New Romantics style is too predictable for my liking.

I think the ankle strap is removeable on this one:

All from Newport News.com, all around $40US, and they ship international through a freight forwarder: newport-news.com/customer/shipping_info.aspx

Hi Fashion junkiexx! Check out victoriassecret.com. They always have lots of pretty high heels and are in that price range. I do not know if the ship to England. nThey have a lot in the $50-70 range. Often there is lots on sale and I guess 40lbs. is about $60-80.

the thing is i need to be able to send them back easily, bc i have odd feet so theres no guarentee theyll fit, so the retailer has to be in england. thanks thoughh ^_^

On an impulse shopping session I got these from Nine West. I haven't tried gladiators so far, so please help me with advice on pairing them with appropriate clothes!

I really need shoes for this dress.
it's a maternity dress.
i haven't got it in green, but in BLACK.
i'm going to wear it on my graduation.
i desperatly search shoes for this dress.
as the dress already is black i'd like them to be more colourful. though black shoes would okay if the really look great (and special).
so, some advices?
thanks a lot :flower:
