US has learned exclusively that actress Pamela Anderson, 39, and her husband, musician Kid Rock, 35, have suffered a miscarriage.
A spokesperson for Pamela Anderson confirms that the actress suffered a miscarriage late last week in Vancouver, Canada while filming her new movie, Blond on Blonder.
Anderson’s rep Tracy Nguyen, is asking that, “Pamela’s privacy be respected at this time.”
A source tells US that Anderson was not far along, and that the pregnancy was at its early stages.
“It is what it is,” says the source. “It was early enough.”
The source confirms that the actress did not go to the hospital to be treated, but instead had a doctor come to her to determine the miscarriage. The stress and the pressure of her rigorous filming schedule is believed to have caused the miscarriage.
“She will keep trying. She really wants another baby with Bob,” says the source.
Anderson and her husband, Kid Rock, were married on August 3 of this year. The actress has two children with her former husband, Tommy Lee; Brandon, 10, and Dylan, 8.

Not a Pam fan, but it's always sad when someone loses a child.:(

awww. i don't know why it has to be made public business, though. that kind of thing is really personal.

Probably just to get the message across in order to avoid inconvenient questions and so on.

There's a rumor that Pam addressed this because the scuffle Denise Richards recently got into with the paps was because they were hounding Pam with questions regarding her pregnancy and Denise was trying to defend her from them because its such a sensitive subject for her right now. And that fueled the rumors even more. Don't know if its true but it would explain why she made a statement about it.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I don't like her very much, but it's never good to hear such a thing.

Gosh! These celebrities have all of their personal business broadcasted to the world....that's sad..I hope she gets better.

Awful news, I’m not a fan or anything but a close friend of mine went through the same 6mo back and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. Some things really should remain private...

Could it have something to do with her age?

That's very possible. Some say that the healthiest age to have children is in your early twenties and supposedly once you read 30 it goes downhill. Pam's almost forty so she's pushing it-- not to say that women in their thirties, forties, fifties, etc. can't have healthy children but the risk is certainly greater.

Plus, if she's had a prior miscarriage then that might be an indicator that maybe her body has a little more trouble carrying a baby.

Or who knows. I'm just speculating because I have a lot of free time on my hands right now
