Even though i feel patent has a been a bit overdone, these are actually sexual!!! Make being a transexual appealing just to wear them...................I take that back

I tried to buy those patent louboutin mary janes and they didn't make them big enough for my huge feet. They were GORGEOUS in person.

:lol::lol::lol:

Yep, "sexual" is the precise word to describe those!!

I'm pining for these Chloes, if they're comfortable, I could see myself wearing them almost every day...

Anyone tried these on?

same thought... how can anyone walk comfortably in those.
Jessica Stam did trip on the runway in its collection... and she's a model.

Can anyone tell me if patent leather "stretches" or "molds" to your foot at all? I bought a pair of the Gucci crepe heels- they are not really too small, but they may be a little stiff in the toe. Trying to decide if I need to go up a half size. The shoe is a really pretty and comfortable otherwise.

actually, I tried on not those patent shoes but a different one from the collection and they were super comfortable, the real life heel is lower than the runway heel....I still want to try on the patent though cause patent can be stiff and uncomfortable, it's hard to know...

I didn't try those Chloe shoes on, but I did gawk and fondle the floor model at the local Neimans. I think I'd be much too tempted to buy them if they got anywhere near my foot:cry:

Lelee, I would definitely go up. I find patent is generally a bit stiffer than calf leather; and I really think shoes look better when they don't have any hint of tightness about them. Also, if they are tight in the toe and they do stretch, you risk having that funny toe bulge on the side.

I have these two pairs.

I remember my mom always saying that patent leather shoes are kinda "wh*re-ish"... :D
But I would love to have a pair of red patent leather ballet shoes... still thinking about it.

laika, thanks so much for the info! I think I will order up- I have worn the 8's around the house and they do not seem to be giving at all. Love both of your patent leather shoes! I'm sure you will get a lot of wear out of them this year!

you're welcome lelee :flower: .

I had the same issue with my Marni pumps when i bought them--super stiff. I ended up exchanging for a 37 even though I am consistently a 36. Much better though!

are these the shoes you got?

Yes, it is. I really like them and they're pretty comfy. I have the Gucci patent w/ the gold platform (flares?) on pre-order, but I don't think I will like them as well (I think they are a little too flashy for me).

i don't think i've seen those....but i'm not that familiar with Gucci shoes, to be honest.

I like the ones you got, the v-shape in the front is very pretty and unusual.

i am in love with these, but i don't think i can justify them, now that i've bought the chloe's.
