Patent Leather shoes

I love patent shoes in general.

But, I really don't like cheap looking patent shoes as you tend to get on the high street, there are nice ones out there, but when the patent ballet flats trend exploded, the high street was suddenly full of horribly cheap looking ones.

They have sizes on the website! Actually I found them at Brent cross and they had lost the other shoe to the pair I wanted, so I tracked them down in the watford store. I bought them on sale for £20 down from £50 too!

i wanted the red ones supose i'll just have to dream of them since i dont want to order out of the website!

i got a pair of costume national black patent, natural wood heel platforms (now they've been knocked off everywhere, ugh) last season, + i'm tempted to get a pair of round toe roger vivier pilgrim shoes with a stiletto heel from saks. should i go with the patent r.v.-- which is so classic, or the natural black leather? whaddya think? (these are similar styles in satin and one in a lower clunky heel than I want in patent-- both pics from bluefly)

there are better vivier styles out there imo...
i like it with the square toe and lthr covered buckle...-not silver...
and i prefer the higher chunky heel...
they look especially great in croc (or maybe it's mock)

not sure where they carry them though......

yeah, i want the round toe with the inward curving stiletto heel of about 2.5-3" height, though i love the chunky heel you mentioned but i'm wary of yet another sky high pair of shoes that get worn twice a year. -- they have them at saks, these two pics were just examples as for some reason i can't find any pics online! the bottom ones in patent i posted remind me of grandma!
