Yes...Joanne Woodward....the film is "The long hot summer" it was made in 1958 and Paul and Joanne were married shortly after the making of the movie. They were dating at the time the movie was being made...he was 33 and she was 27.

I was surprised to learn that she is younger than him...to me she always looked older than Paul.....

I do think it's amazing that they've been together for 50 years. It's hard enough for an ordinary couple to stay together for that long, but when you consider the fact they are actors and are surrounded by other beautiful people all the time, have to deal with public scrutiny etc, it's an amazing feat. I finally saw "Cat on a hot Tin roof". Great film...I really enjoyed it. I was simply mesmerised by Paul, he is unbelievably gorgeous in the film.....his eyes sparkle like aquamarine jems!
