Don't shoot the messenger :innocent: .

I think the last part of the show saved him, no?

Styling , rather than design , but it will sell as separate items , apart from the snakeskin trousers ! :yuk:

Leave them to Roberto Cavalli say I .

Seriously, SERIOUSLY influenced by last winter Junya (jackets, leather trousers, animal print shoes) and by Dries generally. It looks like a Dries collection to me. I think some of it is OK actually.

This really doesn't look like Paul Smith to me. I agree Johnny, it looks more like Dries. I like all the looks in post #3 and the final looks definitely "save" it. The snakeskin pants are NAST!!!

Thx Faust:flower:

I haven't seen any new ideas from paul smith for a couple of seasons already...

Like this one. That crazy cravat or printed shirt or whatever it is just amuses me.

Like the long jacket--very Teddy Boy. Would look better with matchinc trousers, however.

Again, weird cravat/scarf thing kind of appealing.

I'm torn...on one hand it is kind of cool, but on the other, it looks like a posh school uniform. Given that the model looks about 14, the school uni thing is dominating. The bag run diagonally across his body doesn't help alleviate this effect. That jacket over some jeans might be pretty hot, though.

Am I gonna crucify myself by saying I love it? I love me a Pattern F*ck. And while the snakeskin pants aren't very 'Paul Smith,' skins are so much a part of the new fashion lexicon (as in, Skins Are IN because fashion seems to be demanding more 'luxe' by way of deal animals in everything!)that it's an interesting way of incorporating this, and perhaps getting some market share from Cavalli! ;) I love a lot of the mix-n-match looks that you DIDN't post, Faust! And I forget who said it, but yeah,, it's very Dries, but with a sharper silhouette and less ease (that whole English pomp!).

I can't help it - black and neutrals don't do it for me all the time...! I don't care how many textures you incorporate, I. NEED. COLOR.

Must be because I was raised on a tropical island...

I figured that from your posts, you rainbow maniac. Well, I have to say it is harder to incorporate color stylishly, so props to you. :flower:

Why thank you , kind sir. Though that doesn't help me from feeling out of place every time I enter Atelier...
