her work with textiles is so amazing, this mixture has been quite popular in fine art for some time now... maybe starting with tracey emin? but i hadn't seen it used in fashion illustration up till now... surprisingly.

Oooh...love it all........very cute
I think I did similar fabric collages when I was doing art A-Level at school.

Delicious!

So much details, I love how she "tucks in" the edges too.

Ahhh gosh it's so nice :woot:!!!
The style is lovely. It reminds me of John Held Jr.'s drawings.
Thank you for posting!

I have a book on how to make fabric collages :p
The author's illustrations are based on the Victorians (or Edwardians)

thanks for bringing this in estella:woot::heart:

i love the way she's mixing media...
the fabrics are genius but also kind of old school which I love

this vaguely reminds me of some cross-stitching crafts that my mother used to do.. so great :heart:

oh my. :woot: . i've always been tempted to use fabrics on cards or collages and she just does it brilliantly.

beautiful stuff, i agree about the amazing details in the stitches, tucking..and also in the folding for sense of movement.

thanks for bringing this in, anna!. [on purpose!]

^ get out of my reach miss cardinale :muscles:

you're welcome everyone, i'm tempted to make use of some fabric myself^_^

i just read her article in w...
and from what i've seen, i love her stuff
so much detail! i can't even imagine how much skill this would take (i am not too artistic myself!).
i would love to see her work in person. they look great in pictures, but they would really come to life to look at them up close and really see everything.

i can scan the article tomorrow if anybody hasn't seen it...
