^great pieces!

I'm still in summer mode. So I haven't really given this much thought as of yet.
Though I will be on the look out for an olive coloured coat, and a light brown wool scarf to wear with it. As well as a pair of coloured leather gloves. Perhaps royal blue or orange? I'm still in love with this look from Dries Van Noten F/W 2010.

Last year I wore quite a lot of grey, black and navy. So for this season I have a feeling I'll want to throw in some colour (in jewel tones) and prints.

On top of my list right now: Black cowboy boots .

acne rita leather jacket
phillip lim pashli satchel
satomi kawakita black diamond ring, and various thin gold ring bands
opening ceremony cat embroided sweater
toga pulla melange knit cardigan
bodkin carbon coat
aquilano rimondi silk print skirt

Chanel Crystal cluth, jewelry, everything!
Isabel Marant Western embroidery jeans
Stella McCartney stacked platform pumps

Flat, black chelsea boots- determined to finally get some after wanting a pair for three years.
Pointed loafer-ish flat shoes- ordered a pair from Topshop, and am hoping they'll be nice in real life
Leather biker jacket- another item I've been after for ages but never found the right one.
Thin gold bracelets to wear together
Breton stripe slouchy jumper
Mohair jumpers in various colours

My autumn/winter wardrobe is more or less complete, it's summer I struggle with every single year.

A studded leather jacket — I bought this studded one from Zara online last week http://www.zara.com/webapp/wcs/stor...2012&utm_campaign=backsoon&utm_content=button beca but sent it back because of the poor quality leather.
Mohair jumpers (I keep seeing those Le Mont St Michel ones in magazines but have had no luck finding one I like online...)
Black ankle boots with a chunky heel
Charlotte Olympia Kitty flats (because I still don't have them...)

Booties from Stuart Weitzman and Louis Vuitton Epi Alma. Possibly some bf fit jeans?

Top priority for fall - black or burgundy suede ankle boots from Balenciaga (if I'm lucky I hope to cop these or at least find a decent equivalent of ones).

nordstrom, picaweb.google, barneys

These I've already bought ...

What I haven't found yet that I need are cropped/ankle pants.

I want a pair of patent ankle strap mary janes, maybe with a small heel.
A pencil skirt - I have a hard time finding pencil skirts that fit me really well,
and a few pairs of black cigarette pants,
Maybe some cashmere or cotton cardigans (allergic to wool)
Silk day dresses

and a larger closet to hold all of it.

^ dauphine, maybe alterations are the answer to the pencil skirt problem?

I went shopping yesterday for cropped/ankle pants and found a pair of each. There was some extra fabric in the front of one pair (I'd gone up a size to get less of a legging and more of a pant effect), and was so pleased when the tailor was able to fix it by removing the extra fabric at the waist. I have been rejecting things for that problem, and now (at my advanced age ;)) I finally realize it can just be fixed. Even better, it's free at Nordstrom as part of my card benefits. Free or no, tailoring is totally worth it ...

- an olive fur (real or not) hooded parka
- an oatmeal/olive thick knit cardigan (sort of like the one Kurt Cobain wears on MTV Unplugged)
- a solid navy or dark grey blazer with a boy-ish fit

I'm afraid i may have to, it's not necessarily my waist measurement though, I seem to have a hard time finding pencil skirts that don't bunch, twist, or ride up.
#problems :)

Also on the utilitarian side, I really want an LL Bean Baxter Parka for Winter. They're discontinued, so I've started looking on Ebay even though I won't need it until November.

I'm very pear shaped (for example, at JCrew I wear a 0 on top and a 6 on bottom) so pencil skirts never fit me right. I buy all mine from JCrew and get the waist taken in. It normally costs me about $15 but in the long run it is so worth the money. Plus all my tops stay tucked in better.

My absolute favourite is their double serge wool-it's great if you have anything you want to hide because the fabric is very thick-and it just feels so nice on in the colder months.

Yes, it wasn't my waist measurement either in the case of these pants, it was the rise being too long. I have no idea what the issue is with the pencil skirts, just saying that a tailor can likely fix it ... You just need to go to a store with a tailor, find a skirt you otherwise like that has the problem, and ask to speak with the tailor about whether it can be altered to fit properly ...

^i'm currently wearing a The Row pencil skirt with a very high rise. it runs a bit big so the top of it is 2 inches + above my belly button. it doesnt look so bad -because i am wearing a very fitted top. i guess i have to live with it. i wont bother getting a tailor to mess with it - could throw off the structure of it.

i am currently needing something oxblood coloured for fall. i dont think i own anything oxblood. could go well with the blacks and greys in my wardrobe.

i'm consider some more burgundy coloured pants from banana republic.

what i'd really like is an oxblood coloured bag - havent found one in my price/quality range yet.
