PETE DOHERTY and his on/off girlfriend KATE MOSS are back together again, after the wayward rocker reportedly set fire to his bed to show the supermodel how much he loves her.

BABYSHAMBLES frontman Doherty most recently split with Moss after last month's (JUL05) Live 8 concert in London, during which he gave a widely criticised, shambolic performance.

And, following a week in which he was arrested for allegedly punching a British newspaper journalist, Doherty is said to have made a desperate cry for help by smashing up his guitar and setting a bed alight.

An insider tells British newspaper The Sun, "It's been a tough few weeks for Pete. He split with Kate, sacked his manager and got arrested for fighting a reporter.

"Things came to a head at the weekend. He was so frustrated he smashed up a guitar and set fire to his bed.

"Kate got to hear about it and let him come and stay. She still thinks she can sort out Pete and all his problems."

I myself remain a neutral observer on this one, I am just fascinated by Pete and Kate's relationship. Unfortunately I do know what it is like to love/have loved someone who battles addiction. It takes many forms.

I luv pete and his music...i know its hard to overlook the fact that he is an addict and then some, but you guys should read his lyrics and listen to his songs carefully. He is a true poet...Anywayz does anybody know where i can see the F****k Forever video. I tried Launch.com and some other websites but couldnt find it.

Pete Doherty Fined For Drug Smuggling

The latest in a seemingly never-ending stream of drug related mishaps for Pete Doherty involves the Babyshanbles singer being fined for smuggling Class A drugs at Oslo airport

Babyshambles had flown to Oslo airport in Gardermoen, Norway on Friday morning (August 12) to play the country’s Oya Rock Festival later that day.

However, they failed to leave the drama that surrounds their every move in the UK behind them as Doherty and another as-yet-unnamed member of the band were detained at the airport after customs official found they were carrying class-A drugs.

The pair were held for four hours at the airport before eventually being released and fined 8,000 Norwegian Krone (£700) each for carrying of crack cocaine and heroin.

Oslo police prosecutor Harold Holmsen had refused to name the offenders but was quoted by The Mirror as saying, "I can confirm two British citizens were stopped by the customs on Friday at around 4pm. One of them had 1.7g of coke, the other had 1.5g of heroin. They both received 8,000 krone fines and were released several hours later.

"It will not go to court as they accepted their fines but it will be registered as a criminal offence in Norway."

As an equally charming afterthought, as a result of the delay the band finally arrived at the festival site an impressive five hours late and didn't start performing at the event until 10.30pm.

As usual their set was shortened to 30 minutes, with the 4,000 strong crowd enjoying highlights that reportedly included Doherty telling the crowd his singing was “supposed to be out of tune”, throwing bottles of vodka into the audience and as a piece de resistance, throwing up all over the stage.

Classy.

Babyshambles’ new single ‘F**k Forever’ (the newly remixed version) is released today (August 15) and the band’s now impossibly massively anticipated debut album is currently reported to be released on October 10. In addition the single after that is being reported as being ‘Albion’ with a release date of September 26.

A new fly-on-the wall documentary, entitled ‘Who the F**k is Pete Doherty’ is also being broadcast on BBC3 on August 28 at 10pm.

That was so pathetic. The festival they performed on even payed for their fines. They were eight hours late, and when they finally came, they performed for half an hour, before Pete threw up and the band went off the stage.

oh pete...i guess the saying is true "crack is wack" ...on the other hand maybe pete didnt even know he was carrying the crack on him ...like yesterday i was on the bus and felt somethin in my jean pocket...i took it out and guess wat? it was my mom's lip gloss...i dont even know how it got there ....nah i am just kidding i am sure pete was aware of his stash.

Unfortunately, he was probably even more aware of the absence of his stash as he was throwing up on stage. Poor thing, why he can't have others bring it through customs for him is beyond me - with his record he's bound to be checked out by the customs people.
