Peter Pilotto F/W 14.15 London

This gives me a headache, and under all the dissonance of the prints, some of the shapes are highly unflattering.

This is repulsive. My immediate reaction was no. It's all just way too much. That yellow with the red, ugh, just no! I can't even put into words how much I don't like this.

i kind of dig the geometry of some of this, but overall it just feels very... LOUD.

I really dig the mountain print pieces, but otherwise, it feels way too busy. It's really hard to digest.

^ I like the mountain prints as well especially because they are not as print as some of the other prints

the fur and embellishments are so bad, these are not their strengths but the prints as always are fantastic

There're a lots going on in one pieces. However, with simple pattern the clothes look define.

I think it's a lot more interesting than the NYFW stuff he had been delivering for the past 2-3 years... this has its weak moments, mostly in the celebrity-hungry pieces (the tighter dresses and the jackets and coats) but the prints feel less repetitive this time and I like that he seems to finally be experimenting with different silhouettes.

^agreed. even though it does make me think of jonathan saunders a bit,i do think it's better than what he's been doing in previous seasons. i actually like those pieces with the stained glass window patterns and of course the mountain range photo-prints are pretty lovely.

and actually before peter and chris went all "fashion pandering" on us,they did in fact work a lot with embellishments and folky embroideries…there were a lot of layers in what they did….printwork used to be just an element in their aesthetic. goodness i miss when they used to be more experimental.
