I’m only coming here to say this peice of S#|¥ designer had the audacity to knock of Craig Green’s Moncler collaboration puffer and I was not happy at all about that. What an incredibly unimaginative designer, shame on him...

I don't think there's anyone in fashion that I despise more than this guy. It's all so try-hard, humorless, unoriginal, and egotistical. His shows always feel like such a d*ck-slap.

I just don't understand how he's so successful. Who on earth is buying this tacky, overpriced mess?!

The fact that Carine is affiliated to this mess break my heart.
For some reasons, he feels like courting the Hip-Hop community is enough for his brand but his brand of euro-trash still needs a little bit more creativity in order to be relevant.

This is bad in the worst way possible.

^ Money Lola701. Philip Plein has a tons of money.

His clientele is from soccer players, basketballs players and all the nouveau riches. He knows perfectly how to attract them. I can imagine those rich people with this collection at Gstaad for example.

He understands that he doesn't need creativity but just a good and aggressive marketing strategy to succeed. Tacky sells, unfortunately.

I want to look away, but I can't...

He really should consider investing in strip bars, brothels, MMA events, and gay porn, cuz his designs already has that branding— which hasn’t seemed to have changed since 2006 when brands like Affliction and Ed Hardy polluted the Earth.

Not that I expected anything nice, but this collection is horrible. As stated before, the copycat Craig Green x Moncler.... yikes. Shouldnt Plein have learned after his last RTW collection was another copycat of a small graphic designer?

Not to mention how horrid it is to see someone convicted of sexual misconduct with a minor performing, and 2 of their Asian models tagged wrongfully on Instagram (while all the other models get the right tags...)

    wow^^

that's how real reviews looked back when i was just a fan...
    long ago...

it would be so nice if we had more truth like this...
people need to start telling the truth...
all the BS and mutual stroking has contributed in so many ways to the downfall of the industry...

people afraid to speak out lest they lose their jobs...
well, they will ALL lose their job if the whole ship sinks...

   ...

    *thx for sharing that!
