I hope it is a million times better than POTC 2. The movie was disjointed and a major step down.

I watched the director's commentary on the DVDs and it's really interesting to see how everything goes together, how there's thought behind every little detail on the set and how there are little hints as to how the story will develop...

YAY!!! I saw the trailer before Grindhouse this weekend and my fiance was laughing at me being excited about it!

I LOVED it. I still think that the first was the best, but At World's End was much better than the second.

I don't like Pirates of the Caribbean movies; they're a disgrace to the attraction in Disneyland.

I thought it was mediocre. It was trying too hard to be a more artistic intelligent movie than the first one - at the same time going for slapstick in really bizarre places. It was incredibly beautiful looking but come on...

If Calypso is so pissed off, and so powerful, howcome she only creates a puny maelstrom that lasts for about 10 minutes? That's all she does. It's not even strong enough to suck anybody in. Then she just goes away? I mean wtf.

Anyway, the scene with Jack and the pebble crabs...hilarious. This film however had no emotion. For me it was soulless. This was by no means a terrible movie, nor was it embarrassing to watch. It just lacked heart and sincerity and overall felt bloated and dull.
