Perhaps a Bonds warehouse???
I'm not sure where you could find one, but you should definately ask about Bonds - they're relatively cheap and great quality.

have you tried american apparel?

(if you're trying to customize plain tees, i've seen independent designers customized american apparel tanks)

how about PLAY cdg?
norikoike makes that kind of t-shirt. but I don't know where to buy in LA...sorry.

there used to be Helmut Lang underwear whose t-shirt is really comfortable, cool, useful and of good quality. (btw, last year at clearance sale here...about $3) and now it's no more.
but there is a rumor that he is to sign a new underwear license.

American apparel ROCKS! make sure you get a tax ID# to order from their site, they are relatively inexpensive, but at wholesale they cost like 4 bucks. They're located in LA so you might be able to buy at the wharehouse. I would recommend using a local screen printer, that way you can oversee everything. Also, a lot of printers use American Apparel and include it in their cost. I would ask around.

thanks for the tips

i was thinking american apparel as well, so i'm going to look into this

i buy t's at old navy... they're good quality..

i say american apparel as well...

Buying blank t's to print on to

The blank t industry is so huge these days - but still I can't seem to find styles I'm looking for.

Does anyone know where to buy blank cotton dress-like t's or other non-traditional styles to screen print on to.

Maybe I'll have to buy some fabric and make them myself???...
Also, is it better to buy all white fabric and dye?

Thanks,

i've merged this because it's basically the same question ...
i also think american apparel should be good:flower:

Patagonia has a program for this--organic cotton and a good company. I think it's mentioned in the front of every catalog, should also be on their website--www.patagonia.com
