Carine Roitfeld and her son Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld have unveiled Players, a new biannual sports, fashion and media magazine that launches for SS25 with Restoin Roitfeld as editor-in-chief and NBA star Dwyane Wade as its first guest editor. Carine Roitfeld is co-founder and head of fashion. (For those who care, the price is $50.)

I like Lara's spread but yeah, we don't need another expensive magazine.

- No one asked for this
- CR Fashion Book is already a mess that needs to be fixed
- Too many covers and it’s annoying.

For me, 2 covers would have been enough: Dwayne Wade screaming and Giorgio Armani.

I guess this magazine will bridge athletes and fashion + entertainers who are into both worlds. The idea is not stupid to get advertising money from menswear brands or brands talking to men but i don’t find it as impactful as intended.

Lara's video is very colourful, playful and well done IMO:

It is nice to see that Roitfeld still loves Lara. I do like their fashion editorial. The styling and colors are fun.

Sports magazine and I only like the fashion forward cover + editorial, I really am gay

i like the photos and it's a smart idea to exploit the relationship between sports culture and men's interest in fashion, but pricing at $50 is shooting itself in the foot
