As before, feel free to discuss looks from the Awards that aren't included in the poll selection since I unfortunately couldn't fit them all in here, but I believe I got some of the most notable looks/people.

Love these polls! thanks @aracic

Unfortunately the looks were pretty ghastly all around. I guess I'll vote for Kacey and Saweetie? Charli's hair and makeup look phenomenal but the dress? Normani looks like she stole a James Charles look from circa 2019. Most of the dresses just look cheap cheap cheap.

^I have to agree, the red carpet was quite disappointing last night but I've come to expect that from the VMAs. My vote also went to Kacey who looks stunning in that Valentino outfit and I'm really glad she kept the gloves as well.
I also voted for Megan Fox who looks sickening (as always), I was fangirling so hard when I saw her! My last vote went to Olivia whose love for vintage designer garments I always appreciate. Her vintage Versace doesn't look nearly as spectacular as it did on the runway many years ago, but I still like it. I also think Ciara looks great in Tom Ford! Safe and basic, but gorgeous.

Megan looks like she is trying *so hard* to look sexy, and for me it’s causing the opposite effect. Like others have said, it brings to mind Kim K’s Met Gala and Vogue cover look from a couple years ago. She’s beautiful and fit, so of course she looks good by default, but the dress itself is pure trash.

Couldn't they fix that drape on place on that poor Versace dress at least? And what are those "stylists" trying to prove by dressing their clients in all these archival pieces actually? So sick of all those Kardashians, Bella, that Zen-something twink and other singing strippers already. Just dress them in their Zuhair Murad or Siriano, there wont be any difference and their teen fans don't care either
That dress is such Charles James Swan dress rip-off for 90th Barbie

The more I think about it, the more I realize I've never been more unimpressed with a "major" red carpet event. The best of these looks could easily land on a "worst of" list for a different event. I mean, how damn hard can it be for a beautiful, slim, wealthy person with a stylist to find something to wear that's, at the very least, not embarrassing?

And I don't think I'm particularly biased, because I like quite a few of these people. But it's just.... ugh. So so bad. Makes me a scared to watch the Met Gala arrivals in a bit.

Dear god, just don't let there be too many of Virgil's girls. I feel naive for expecting major vintage Halston or even Charles James if anyone dares. I don't want more alternatives of the same beaded naked dress most of these girls pull out every year.

Sadly they're pushing the "FUTURE" of American fashion, so we're probably more likely to see someone dressed as a jar of Skippy peanut butter than we are someone in vintage Halston or Stephen Burrows.

Agreed The Fox looks cheap. And hearing her interview about MGK picking out her outfit and telling her to dress naked, to her calling him daddy. I just can’t.

This was really one of the worst red carpet (or award shows in general) events I've seen in a long time. To think the VMAs used to be such a highlight, with so many iconic moments. This is all very disappointing. My vote went to Kacey, basically the only look I appreciated.

Best Dressed for me is Kacey! Great color, fun but not trashy and it flatters her figure!
Worst Dressed is...everyone else, although I was particularly horrified by Lil Nas X mullet and...I don't even know how to call that lavender atrocity. He's got such poor taste! Tinashe is so pretty but she looked like a washed-up Christina Aguilera impersonator.

This award show was a masterclass in "What not to wear": skanky, poorly fitted and just nasty to watch!

P. S. I hate myself very deeply and as a result I ended up watching the whole award show, what a travesti! Dull "provocations", a bunch of people nobody other than their agent knows and such poor singing. That Olivia girl was screaming her lungs out but all it came was some pitchy whining...her awful Versace that looked like a knock-off was the lesser of her problems! The rest couldn't lipsync their way out of a karaoke bar...
