How small is small ? The smallest I've made have been the size of chinese cherries, and the yarn I've used have been the thickness of a match, and sofar they have turned out nice and dense.urd said:If you make a necklace, how thin shoud the yarn be? I want really small pompoms

thanks ocean...i made a couple of mixed ones and will see if it does anything...![]()
Yeah, it's not exactly avant-garde! Some of the people posting on there seem extremely young. Anyway, I found some info about fabric + thrift stores in my area...it's an interesting resource.
Just out of curiousity Urd..how small did you make your pom poms ?urd said:I made a huge white pom pom yesterday, don't know what I'm gonna do with it yet. I also made a red necklace with small pom poms

After seeing Softies pom pom scarf it's making mine look so un cool, stupid and what not.![]()

about a size of a large grape, my yarn was quite thinHanne said:Just out of curiousity Urd..how small did you make your pom poms ?

Hanne said:I agree with Ocean..great choice of colour..and a lot more versatile than mine..it.
An idea to what you could do:
Your pom pom scarf is connected like this right? : X-X-X-X-X-X-X (the X's being pom pom's and - | being the yarn connecting the pom pom's )
What you also could do is this
X-X-X-X-X-X-X
|.....|.....|.....|
Xx...X....X.....xX
.x.................x (ignore the dots)
I hope it makes sense...![]()
....HELP!!!...i have no idea what this is...can anyone translate?...
