i saw something similar in a magazine once, but i couldnt find it in stores... maybe i should learn how to knit.. i wanna make one!

I wish you could see too - I really think its great! the bag has pink rivets so the slight pink in the huge pom pom looks fab with that bag.

I agree with Ocean..great choice of colour..and a lot more versatile than mine.. it.
An idea to what you could do:
Your pom pom scarf is connected like this right? : X-X-X-X-X-X-X (the X's being pom pom's and - | being the yarn connecting the pom pom's )

What you also could do is this
X-X-X-X-X-X-X
|.....|.....|.....|
Xx...X....X.....xX
.x.................x (ignore the dots)
I hope it makes sense...
