In the spring of 2010, POP’AFRICANA made a stirring leap into print, delivering what many have touted the “Vogue for Africa.” Discerning cultural critics, magazines, and fans throughout the blogosphere, such as Purple Magazine, The Fader, and Dazed & Confused, have lauded POP’AFRICANA for its beauty, initiative, high-end leanings, but most importantly, its distinction from generic magazines claiming to represent Africa. Indeed, POP’AFRICANA’s all-inclusive first issue wowed, inspired, and empowered readers for the creative ways it represented Africa and Africans.

Now, Pop'Africana presents its highly anticipated Second Issue, a Limited Edition featuring contributions from Duro Olowu, Olufemi Terry, Marcus Samuelsson, Nina Keita, Maki Oh, AND MORE.

The EIC Oroma Elewa has been been getting soooo much amazing press for her hard work. You can even check her out the Vogue Italia/Vogue Black website.

Everyone submit your favorite images or excerpts from POP'AFRICANA. Would love to know what you guys think

I've never heard of this magazine. Nice cover though. Would be interesting to see the content.
