honestly, first collection i know i would wear. all of it.

This collection is everything.
Sleek, sexy, sophisticated, luxurious, rich, etc.
It feels very light and effortless
Despite the heaviness that usually comes with things like
Dark colors, capes, layering, coats, leather, wool, fur, velvet, etc.

I think I have a secret crush on Ports 1961 - I find that they are sneakily quite innovative with their designs in womenswear and now in men's.
The cuts and clothes are interesting, it sort of verges on Kris van Assche, but also has extremely wearable and very welcome slim-cut tailoring and jackets.
I'd like to see more of you.

^ agree! their debut S/S 2012 menswear show was incredible as well, and i'm pretty happy with this season's outcome  love how everything looks so louche and fluid, and the silhouettes are very interesting; ultra slim yet voluminous, and those capes are very becoming. they seem to borrow on BV's discreet luxury aesthetic, but with a more adventurous take on proportions. beautiful collection overall.

i didn't even know they started doing menswear...!

the odd thing is that it looks a lot like stuff that i wear...
especially the big oversized boxy coats/jkts...
and i'm not a guy...
:p...

it's not quite as refined...
but i feel a bit of the old jil sander aesthetic in this...
which can only be a good thing in my book...

i would pull it all apart and re-merchandise it...
but there are a LOT of nice things here to play with!...

Absolutely beautiful.
This is filling some void that I cannot put my finger on yet. Maybe Tom Ford at Gucci, but not quite. All that I know is I want at least 90 % of what I see.

And in general, I have been more than impressed with fashion this season so far !

^ I agree, it's a nice, minimal collection with a touch of sensual edge. My wife has a few of their pieces from various collections, and they all have very nice fabric and finishing; the kind of items that meld well with others yet retain a bit of identity.

I like a lot of the outerwear, and I'm curious as to what level of construction the suits are being made.
